" Gengenbach " 根根巴哈 看到這地名 就覺得很有趣
JTB 的旅遊書 大概只有不到四分之一頁的介紹
與其他熱門景點相較 眾多入口網站的部落格對這裡的介紹也不是太多 可見這裡並不是很熱門的景點
不多的介紹中 大家抄來抄去 或許都說這裡算是巴登符騰堡邦的羅騰堡
有人覺得這裡好玩 有人不以為然
就像我說的 一個地方好玩不好玩 很多主觀 客觀的因素 都會影響個人的判斷
把每個地方都玩得很豐富 很精彩 考驗的是每個人的觀察力
有時候走一些比較冷門 台灣人比較少來的景點 其實也是不錯
旅遊局的官網上 是這樣形容自己 a “ pearl among the Black Forest towns ”
這個歷史悠久的迷你小鎮 就是我們黑森林鐵路 途中下車之旅的第一個選擇
因為隔天取回寄放在飯店大行李的時間限制 我們改變行程 早上先稍微再逛了一下 Freiburg 市區
離開 Freiburg 開始鐵道之旅的時間 也比預計的晚了一個小時
今天移動的距離不長 只須利用 Local train 就用巴登符騰堡邦票即可
現在德鐵的售票機大多改成觸控式螢幕 英文介面也很容易操作
買票 查詢火車時刻與銜接 相當方便
不像以前的售票機 有一堆按鍵 看得讓人眼花

火車上看到的德南鄉村風光 作物以小麥 玉米為主
Gengenbach 火車站
從火車站規模與氣氛就可以知道 這裡生活的腳步是很悠閒的
小鎮不大 要迷路很難 但是還是建議先上旅遊局官網下載地圖 走起來比較順
特殊的建築都會標示
在大馬路上看到農機 就知道這裡真的是很鄉下 可以看到最純樸 真實的德國
郵局內還兼賣各種酒 雜貨 雞蛋 ..... 夠鄉下吧
The Niggel Tower
這附近地區在 1789 年發生大火 把一些老建築燒光了 所以看起來都是比較新的建築
官網上這樣介紹 :
The Niggel Tower was not inside the city walls. It was built as a free-standing watch and prison tower. The lower part of the tower built in the 14th Century was capped off by the eight-sided top at the end of the 16th Century and thus received its striking appearance. Today you will find a fool’s museum inside which depicts the great tradition of the Alemannic carnival. The mischievous fool carved in stone is the symbolic figure for Gengenbach’s carnival.

市政廳廣場上 熱鬧的市集 又讓我們逛得很高興

騎士雕像象徵這裡是個驕傲又有歷史的自由貿易城市
廣場周圍這些木質骨架房屋 真是漂亮極了
麵包攤
有些人採買完 準備回家囉 這種每周上市場趕集式的生活 在很多歐洲的鄉村 還真實存在

周六的市集 讓小鎮顯得特別熱鬧
由城門上看主要街道
The Löwenberg Palace 出過不少名人 士紳的大戶人家
德國騎單車的人也很多

走入清幽的巷弄 是內行人逛小鎮的方式
找了商店 買了簡單的午餐 我們走入住宅區閒逛
中午就在這裡野餐 在一旁噴泉玩耍的小朋友 大概很少看到東方人 一直好奇的瞄我們
用完餐 休息後 我們逛逛 Gengenbach 最漂亮的天使巷 Angel Alley
這裡很漂亮 可是藏在巷弄中 有些遊客很容易錯過
還是引用官網 http://www.stadt-gengenbach.de/en/tourism/old-town/walkingtour/angelalley/ 的介紹吧 :
We are now entering a district of the old city that still exudes the cheerfulness of its former inhabitants. The taste and skill of the master craftsmen is always admired. We are standing in a half-timbered paradise alluded to in the names of the streets: Engelgasse (Angel Alley) and Höllengasse (Hell Alley). We find a closed half-timbered façade characterised by the overhang that allowed for a larger living space in the upper floor. Also allow us to point out that wine growing was already considerable in that time. All the houses have their own wine cellars with an open entrance from the street.
The half-timbered architecture is a simple technique, but its great variety belies its romantic world of feelings and moods. The decorative playing with forms still adorns the houses and underscores the incomparable expressive power of Gengenbach’s half-timbered buildings

精巧的小鎮 正是欣賞真正傳統德國之美 最適合的地方
沒有過多的觀光客 沒有過多的商業氣息 適合優閒的亂逛
許多歷史悠久的木質骨架房屋 優美的巷弄 德國鄉下超棒的居住環境
都讓人印象深刻
